VVV (“WWW”, with V’s) is the browser that will visit T8wn plots from a real Commodore 64. It connects through a Swiftlink-compatible modem, such as the modem emulation of the C64 Ultimate, and speaks plain HTTP.
- Full-screen pages with colors and styles
- Links and form fields picked with the cursor keys or the joystick
- History, bookmarks and a home page of your own
- HTTPS sites through a small proxy running on your own PC
VVV is a prototype and is being tested in the VICE emulator right now. More news when it runs on real hardware.
