Consecutive lines that aren’t another kind of block form a paragraph.
These lines are joined
into one paragraph,
and the client wraps it to the screen.
A blank line starts a new one.

Rules
- The line breaks between the lines of a paragraph become single spaces.
- A blank line ends the paragraph. Several blank lines count as one.
- The client wraps at spaces, to its screen width. A word longer than a whole line is broken where it reaches the edge. The space at a wrap point isn’t shown.
- Runs of several spaces inside a line are kept as written, unlike in HTML. Spaces at the start of a line are dropped.

Spacing between blocks
- Blank lines between two blocks give exactly one empty screen line.
- Blocks without a blank line between them follow each other directly: for example a heading and the paragraph right under it, or the items of a list.
- There are no empty lines at the very top and bottom of a page.
## Heading
A paragraph directly under it.
Another paragraph, after a blank line.
